We are seeking the services of a friendly and reliable, Housekeeping Room Attendants to join the team on a casual basis. 

Located in Yass – NSW 

The Role;

• Service and clean assigned guest rooms ensuring that rooms are presented to the hotel standard.
• Have the ability to work both solo and as part of a team.
• Handle all, cleaning chemicals and equipment according to WHS standards.
• Assist with other duties in the housekeeping department as required.
• Have great attention to detail and take pride in what you do.
• Adhere to hotel and company policies and procedures.

Who we are looking for:

• Previous experience is highly desirable but not required as training will be provided.
• Capacity to work in a very physical role.
• Ability to work fast and thorough.
• Good communication and time management skills with a friendly personality.
• The flexibility to work over a seven-day roster.

Centrally located in the heart of town, Mercure Albury is a destination of choice for visitors to the region. FABRIC, our in-house restaurant, offers a relaxed dining experience that caters to both travellers and locals alike. We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and elevate our dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
As our next Head Chef, reporting directly to the General Manager, you will:

• Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.
• Roster staff according to business requirements.
• Bring exceptional culinary flair and motivating leadership to your team.
• Ensure the quality and presentation of food meets property standards and service timelines.
• Plan menus, estimate food and labour costs, and manage ordering.
• Oversee food preparation for all outlets, including functions and events.
• Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and manage food costs.
• Maintain a clean, organised kitchen, adhering to WHS and food safety standards.
• Complete assignments and responsibilities in a timely manner.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor certificate.

• Previous experience in an à la carte and events environment.
• A confident, modern cooking style with an emphasis on quality and presentation.
• Strong understanding of food cost control and stock management.
• Flexible in meeting guest requests.

• Ability to work well under pressure.
