Introducing the Mandala Circle of Local Heroes
Giving Back to the Communities We Call Home
At Mandala Hotels & Resorts, we believe hospitality is about more than welcoming guests. It’s about creating meaningful connections with the communities where we live, work and operate.
That’s why we’re proud to introduce the Mandala Circle of Local Heroes, a new staff-led community initiative designed to support local organisations making a real difference. Inspired by feedback from our team members, the program empowers each Mandala property to partner with a local charity, volunteer group or community organisation and provide meaningful support throughout the year.
From fundraising and volunteering to in-kind donations and practical assistance, every partnership will reflect the unique needs of the local community and the people who know it best, our hotel teams.
We’re delighted to announce that Mercure Albury is the first property to join the program delete, partnering with the Splitters Creek Rural Fire Brigade, a dedicated volunteer unit of the NSW Rural Fire Service.
Volunteer firefighters play a vital role in protecting local communities, often giving their time and expertise around the clock to respond to emergencies and support the region.
Through this partnership, Mercure Albury will provide ongoing support including accommodation and restaurant vouchers, in-kind assistance with equipment where possible, and catering for training days and community events.

Making a Lasting Impact
The Mandala Circle of Local Heroes is about creating long-term relationships that strengthen the communities surrounding our hotels. By working alongside local organisations, we hope to support the incredible people who dedicate their time to helping others while encouraging our own teams to make a positive impact close to home.
