Lincoln Downs Resort Partners with Marine Rescue Batemans Bay
Supporting Those Who Keep Our Waterways Safe
At Mandala Hotels & Resorts, we believe strong communities are built through meaningful partnerships. As part of the Mandala Circle of Local Heroes, we’re proud to announce that Lincoln Downs Resort Batemans Bay has partnered with Marine Rescue Batemans Bay, a volunteer organisation dedicated to keeping local waterways safe.
Operating entirely through the commitment of volunteers, Marine Rescue Batemans Bay provides an essential emergency response service for recreational and commercial boaters across the region. Their crews are on call day and night, often responding to challenging situations in difficult conditions.
Supporting a Vital Community Service
This year has already been an incredibly busy one for the Marine Rescue team. In just one evening, volunteers responded to two separate rescue operations, including one more than 17 kilometres offshore.
Recognising the vital role the organisation plays within the Batemans Bay community, Lincoln Downs Resort is proud to provide practical support through the Mandala Circle of Local Heroes initiative.
The partnership includes assistance towards the cost of a rescue operation, fundraising vouchers to support Marine Rescue Batemans Bay’s major fundraising event.
