Mandala Sustainability Statement

Sustainable by Design.
Responsible by Nature.

We create hotels that honour people, place and the planet — delivering meaningful experiences with minimal impact and maximum care.

Five Pillars. One Purpose.

Our world is shaped by five interconnected pillars: our people, our patrons, our partners, our stakeholders and our planet. At the centre of this is one clear purpose: to create harmony between all stakeholders. Achieving the right balance across these groups is fundamental to how we operate.

OUR PEOPLE

Safe, inclusive workplaces and thriving teams across every property.

OUR PARTNERS

Local suppliers and community leaders co-creating regional impact.

OUR PATRONS

Guests who experience meaningful, locally grounded hospitality.

OUR STAKEHOLDERS

Guests who experience meaningful, locally grounded hospitality.

OUR PLANET

Operated with minimal impact and respect for every environment.
OUR PURPOSE

Our Framework.

01

Low-Impact Operations

smarter systems. lighter footprint.

Mandala operates with efficiency at its core — reducing energy, water, and waste while enhancing guest comfort and operational performance. Every Mandala property is purpose-built to minimise environmental load without compromising the guest experience.

"Every Mandala property is designed to tread lightly and operate intelligently"

02

Responsible Sourcing

Local first. ethical always.

We prioritise local suppliers, transparent procurement, and sustainable products — strengthening regional economies and reducing our environmental footprint. Every purchasing decision is an opportunity to support Australian communities and do things better.

"Every Mandala property is designed to tread lightly and operate intelligently"

03

People, Culture & Community

sustainability starts with our people

We invest in safe, inclusive workplaces and champion local communities through regional partnerships, cultural respect, and meaningful engagement. When our people are supported and empowered, entire communities feel the benefit.

"When our people thrive, our communities thrive."

04

Governance & Accountability

Clear Standards. Transparent Progress.
Our sustainability commitments are backed by strong governance, ESG-aligned KPIs, and regular reporting across all properties. Integrity isn’t an aspiration — it’s the benchmark we hold ourselves to every day, across every decision.

"Integrity is our benchmark — not an aspiration."

05

Future Focus

Evolving with Purpose.
We continually refine our practices, embracing new technologies, deeper community partnerships, and more transparent reporting. Sustainability is not a destination — it is a living commitment that grows stronger with every year, every property, and every decision we make.

"Sustainability is a journey — and we're committed to leading it."
